The Spokane Valley City Council is expected to pick a contractor for construction of a new city hall at an early meeting tonight. The session begins at 5 p.m. and is followed by a joint meeting between the city council and the Spokane Valley Planning Commission that begins at 6 p.m.
There is a time slot for public comment at the bid award meeting. 

The meeting between the city council and the planning commission at 6 p.m. is about the comprehensive plan update - it's open to the public, but has no time set aside for public comment.
