A certain groundhog promised me spring, but I'm still waiting. So I found something to keep us going through the long, dark, snowy days of winter. Reader Mike Saeger sent in this "Picture Perfect" submission in 2008, which he called a "sure sign” of spring. It was taken at his mother-in-law’s pond between Valleyford and Mica.
