Drivers nabbed for not yielding to pedestrians

The Spokane Valley Police Department conducted a pedestrian emphasis for five hours yesterday at the intersections of Valleyway and Mullan/Argonne. They gave out 110 tickets (at $124 a pop) to drivers who failed to yield for pedestrians in the crosswalk, according to Detective David Thornburg.…
