Capitol flag lowered in honor of Morton

OLYMPIA — Flags at the state Capitol were lowered to half-staff today in honor of state Sen. Bob Morton, who died last Friday.

Morton, R-Orient, was a long-time legislator from northeastern Washington’s 7th District. Here’s The Spokesman-Review’s obituary from last week.
