The Slice discussion of movies that might not be appropriate for all ages reminded Dee Hargitt of a film outing back in the 1970s.

The movie was "Shampoo."

"Since my neighbor was taking her young daughters to it, I thought it would be an OK one."

Uh, not really.

"I took my young teen and my 80-year-old mother."

Dee still shakes her head.

"Between my teen going 'All right!' on one side of me and my mother drawing in sharp, deep breaths on the other side of me, there was no way I could enjoy that movie!"

Oh, well. Live and learn.
