An email with photos attached arrived from Susanne Croft.

"Hi, Paul: In response to your column (Monday), I thought you might enjoy seeing the framed pages from the Nov. 20, 1932 issues of The Spokesman-Review. We found several inches of the same day's paper nailed together under the floor of a crawl space under our kitchen when remodeling -- 15 years ago. They were pressed together so tightly that many were very well preserved. We framed the two most interesting ones and continue to enjoy them in our home."
