It seems her husband, George X. Hale, managed to punch himself in the face yesterday while trying to pull up the bed covers.

Accidents happen. But what made his mishap somewhat remarkable is the fact the exact same thing happened in yesterday's "Pickles" comic strip.

"I wonder how many other 'Pickles' readers punched themselves in the face yesterday while pulling up their blankets," wondered Deborah.

For the record, George laughed about the coincidence.
