The Slice

Great moments in Spokane Christmas mailing

It was about 10 years ago.

The scene was the post office on South Grand.

The place was full of people sending holiday packages.

At some point, one of the postal clerks had to point out a problem to a customer. In sealing up her package with dark brown tape, the customer had managed to cover up part of the recipient's address. The customer gave the clerk a look that seemed to silently ask, "And that would be a problem?"

Yes, apparently it would.
