The Slice

Ever seen a herd of marmots?

I met a very nice woman this morning who said she had been waiting to tell me about a marmot sighting.

Her family was on the North Side, driving between the Arena and KXLY when she saw a herd of marmots cross the road.

Yes, she said "herd."

She said they looked like seals. Or maybe little seal lions.

Anyway, I have never seen more than one or two at a time. How about you?

Extra credit if you have a good answer for "Why did the marmot cross the road?"

In other news, the Marmot Lodge might bestir itself from its long torpor and actually do something in 2017. Stay tuned.
