The Slice

Arboreal faith

Somewhere in the Spokane area, there's a little kid who secretly thinks he or she can keep the family Christmas tree alive through a program of forced hydration.

Of course, we all know that once a tree has been cut, there's no going back. The kid can water it until the cows come home but there won't be any cause to declare "It's a-liiiiiive!"

That does not deter the true believer, hoping for a Christmas miracle.
