When using a laundromat for the first time in decades

1) The machines take a lot more quarters than they did once upon a time. A LOT more.
2) The "two or three weeks" promised for delivery of your new washing machine is more accurately measured in geologic time.
3) When you are using half a dozen dryers at one time, it can feel like you are one of those plate spinners on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
