Walked over to Riverfront Park, to pick up my Ice Palace season pass.

You have to go around the back way now, due to lanternmania.

Acquiring the pass would seem like a simple transaction. But it never is.

This year, it could not be accomplished because the machine that spits out the plastic badge would not do so.

But I got a receipt for my $48.50, so there's that.

The opening is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday. We'll see.
