Listening to the police/fire radio scanner
If you hear it long enough, three conclusions are inescapable.
1. A lot of people need help.
2. It's a wonder the police don't reach the conclusion that all members of the public are insane. Then again, maybe they have.
3. The vehicle they're looking for is a white van.
