I've known Kristina Morehouse a long time, first as a co-worker then as a valued friend.

We seldom see one another in person now that she is a teacher at GU. But I like to think our perpetually postponed plans to meet for coffee are not reflective of any lack of care or fondness. I believe we are just secure about our status with one another.

Kris does not bombard me with submissions to The Slice. But when she does send something, it's always good stuff.
