Who is the bigger jinx?
So I was heading out of the McCarthey Athletic Center last night after GU's loss when I ran into retired judge Jim Murphy.
I told him I was worried that I was a jinx. Because though GU was 4-1 in games I had attended at five other venues, the Zags were now 0-1 in games I had seen at the MAC, where they seldom lose.
Murphy said he could top that.
Not only had he been in attendance for GU's Saturday night loss to BYU, but earlier in the day he had witnessed EWU losing a heartbreaker to Montana out in Cheney. Two home-team losses in one day.
On the other hand, it could be that neither of us had anything to do with the outcomes of the basketball games.
