MLK Jr. Day is two weeks away.

I can think of few other subjects that offer a better window on someone's true feelings.

I'm not saying having misgivings about the occasion automatically makes you a racist. But if you're asking me if I think most objections to MLK Jr. Day are based on concerns about the federal budget or the fact that he did not lead a perfect personal life, I would say "No."
