The Slice

A correction that might be a first

You'll want to check Thursday's Slice column to see a correction that still has me shaking my head.

I can't recall ever needing to run a correction about a family story, at least not when mine is the family in question.

No, no one demanded it. But I cannot have my mother-in-law thinking I am casual about matters of fact. Besides, there might be some Stella Stevens scholar out there about to take me to task re: a detail in Monday's column about baby boomer men and lust.

So anyway, the correction will be down below my contact info. That's not an attempt to hide it. Well, not totally. An untold number of my readers actually look at that ender line first.

And by the way, my mother-in-law said Ms. Stevens' figure was "noticeable" in real life.

Ever see "The Ballad of Cable Hogue"?
