My theory re: First car you ever owned

The first car I ever owned was a used 1967 four-door Chevrolet Impala.

I bought it in 1977. I did not have it all that long. A series of engine fires made me suspect it wasn’t the car for me.

But here’s the thing. That Impala remains the biggest car I ever owned. And I suspect that quite a few people about my age could say that about their first automobile.

Well, unless they became SUV people.
