When it's not obvious because the state or city are part of a school's name, how often do casual sports fans in our area have any idea where colleges such as Xavier, Rice, Temple, Creighton, Drake, Villanova or Marquette are located?

Surely I wasn't the only 13-year-old who used a family heirloom wooden chair as a goalie and, in the course of firing pucks into a moving-van box in the basement, reduced said chair to splinters.
