One personal weekend highlight

I was unloading some groceries from the back of the car when I noticed two preschool children sitting on the front porch across the street.

One said hello.

I returned the greeting and waved.

“Are you a stranger?” one of them called out.

“Not really,” I said. “I’m your neighbor.”
