Ice Palace opening postponed a week

Instead of opening on Friday, Oct. 19, the downtown skating rink is to begin its season on Friday, Oct. 26. The ice is artificially chilled, but the Ice Palace is an open-air facility and the ice-makers need cooler weather to do their thing.
