It is a very sad day at the newspaper

It’s with much sorrow in my heart that I have to tell you Laura Crooks passed away, on the morning of Saturday October 28. She was at home with her family.
This blog was very important to Laura, and we are committed to keeping it and the parents council going in the future.
We wanted to get word of Laura’s sudden passing to the parents council as quickly as possible – thus this posting – there will be an obituary in the paper Sunday morning.
