Lake Roosevelt kokanee fishing seminar Thursday

FISHING -- A free seminar on fishing for trout and kokanee at Lake Roosevelt will be presented by a fishing guide at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at Sportsman's Warehouse, 6720 N Division St. in Spokane.

Fishing guide Troy Black of Blacky’s Guide Service based in Hayden cover the most effective methods for catching the reservoir's prized fisheries.

The program is sponsored by the Coastal Conservation Association. Members will also present the group's efforts in Eastern Washington to protect and promote recreational fisheries as well as ongoing conservation efforts.

Sportsman's Warehouse will offer in-store coupons and giveaways for attendees, said CCA spokesman Tyler Comeau.
