You may have heard already that memorabilia and items from closed Spokane restaurant Cyrus O’Leary's will be auctioned off this Saturday.

The preview will be Friday at the downtown eatery, which closed its doors on Sept. 11.
Among the items to be auctioned are antiques, kitchen equipment, ovens, ice cream machine, tables, and booths.

Spokane auctioneer Jeff Owens will manage the sale, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the restaurant at 516 W. Main

Restaurant owner Erikki Oranen said he's donating a portion of the proceeds to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Center.

Cyrus O'Leary's has maintained a long relationship with that service provider, said Oranen.

What he wouldn't say is what the portion going to the crisis center. "It will depend on how much we raise," he said, noting that the percentage will change according to the net take.

He also didn't want to say what the possible range of percentages would be.

Friday's preview will be Friday from 3 to 6 pm.
