Eric Holmes looking for a Victory at Toyota Speedway

Two-time NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Champion, Eric Holmes, looks to increase his points lead with a victory in the King Taco '200' Saturday night. Holmes and the No. 20 NAPA Toyota team with crew chief, Matt Goslant is ready to get the win that has eluded Holmes. It's also a track in which Holmes has been the pole winner twice in the West Series and twice in the NASCAR Elite Division, South West Tour but has yet to record a win competing in the West Series.

Antelope, CA - Bill McAnally Racing's Eric Holmes will be looking to record his first win at Toyota Speedway piloting the No. 20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota Camry. The NAPA entry with team owner Bill McAnally has visited Victory Lane nine times including a record four wins in a row at the track dubbed the 'fastest short track in the West' (This includes the victory at the Inaugural Toyota All-Star Showdown). The team also won the Inaugural NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown held at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California.

It's also a track in which Holmes has been the pole winner twice in the West Series and twice in the NASCAR Elite Division, South West Tour but has yet to record a win competing in the West Series. (Holmes recorded a win at the Inaugural NASCAR All-Star Showdown in the NASCAR Elite Division portion). In the last six West Series visits for Holmes, he has finished second three times and third once.

The King Taco '200' is this Saturday night, July 3rd and there will be fireworks for the fans on the track and after the race event. The 200-lap race will be presented by SPEED Channel on Thursday July 15th at 3 pm PST. For ticket information please visit the track website, www.toyotaspeedway.com.
