According to Keith Danson, "I am continually amazed at how good a show  the racers put on, and how efficiently the staff at ERP keeps the action going."

Yet another great night at ERP with the Pioneer Muffler 2 Adult Hornets, Kim Janke
State Farm Agent Youth Hornets, Jerry's Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Pepsi Cola Street
Stocks, 360 Sprints and yes the insane Big Cars and a pickup!  We even had a marriage
proposal on the front straightaway!  I am continually amazed at how good a show
the racers put on, and how efficiently the staff at ERP keeps the action going,
thanks everyone!  Here's who won Trophy Dashes:

B Youth Hornet- #00 Dylan Adamson, ML
A Youth Hornet- #96 Austin Schooler, Ephrata
A Adult Hornet- #83 Sid White, Othello
B Hobby- #18 Jason Ray, Ephrata
A Hobby- #6 Russ Kain, Wen
Fast time- #34 Josh McKenzie, Wen 16.18
B Street- #4 Brad Morrison, ML
A Street- #68 Bart Hector, Ephrata, Fast Time 15.23
360 Sprints- #2x Kurt Myers, Wilson Creek
Fast time- #96 Britt Lorentzen, Lake Taps 12.77
Big Cars- Ray Hayne, Wilson Creek

With points being at stake during the heat races, drivers in the hunt tend to push
a little harder and the fans enjoyed it!
Sid White returned in a big way, Brad Morrison doubled up, and Britt Lorentzen showed
his Fast Time was not a fluke, but a pattern had already been started, the Hector
family letting it be known that they are on a mission this year!  Here's who won
their Heats:

Youth Hornet- #68 Bart Hector Jr, Ephrata
Adult Hornet- #83 Sid White, Othello
B Hobby- #32 Chris Costlow, Odessa
A Hobby- #42 Neil Nelson, George
B Street- #4 Brad Morrison, ML
A Street- #68 Bart Hector, Ephrata
360 Sprints- #96 Britt Lorentzen, Lake Taps

If you like pileups, the first lap of a Main Event at ERP has one or even two accidents
involving up to six cars!  Racers are really pushing things early lately with no
complaints in the stands!  The Hobby class had 6 DNF's!  Cautions keep the racing
close with the leaders doing their best to keep out of trouble.  In the end, the
cream always rises to the top, here's how the Mains finished:

Thanks to Mike Hunter for watering down turns 1 and 3, then installing a huge ute
tire on the front straightaway for the Big Car Main Event!  The cars and pickup
had to do a lap around the track and a lap around the tire- insane fun!  We are
off for the 4th of July, back racing on the 11th with Mid Season Championships,
see you there!
