World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park

Joey Saldana and Donny Schatz, who lead the series with eight and seven wins respectively both won at Dodge City last season. Schatz, who is chasing his fourth consecutive series title, has a 68-point lead in the championship standings over 20-time series champion Steve Kinser.

WHAT
• The World of Outlaws venture into the Old West this weekend for the Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park in Kansas on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, with the cameras from SPEED on hand to capture all of the action both nights. Joey Saldana and Donny Schatz, who lead the series with eight and seven wins respectively both won at Dodge City last season. Schatz, who is chasing his fourth consecutive series title, has a 68-point lead in the championship standings over 20-time series champion Steve Kinser entering this weekend’s pair of events. Jason Meyers is third in points, just two markers behind Kinser, with Saldana fourth, just six points behind Meyers.

WHEN
• On Friday, June 12 at Dodge City Raceway Park, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Central with hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

• On Saturday, June 13 at Dodge City Raceway Park, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Central with hot laps set for 6 Central.

• Dodge City Raceway Park is located in Dodge City, Kansas. Take U.S. 283 to the southern edge of Dodge City, go 0.9 miles west on U.S. 56, then 0.1 mile south.
