Mike Longton was able to pull away late in the race to win at his home track. Following up his win at Mission Valley Speedway, Longton moves closer to top of the point ladder for the 2009 ASA NWLMT championship.
Forced to go to a backup car for Sunday's race, Stewart must drop to the rear before the field takes the green flag. The backup car is chassis No. 450, which Stewart drove to a 26th-place finish (his worst of the year) at Las Vegas.
Kyle Busch led four times for 173 of the 225 laps around the 1.33-mile concrete track, giving up the lead only for pit stops. He led the final 24 laps and beat Brad Keselowski by 0.891 seconds.

Eric Holmes’ third win of the season increased his series points lead to 36 points over Jason Bowles, who finished second. David Mayhew was third, followed by Mike David and Moses Smith.
