Spokane County Raceway Inaugural Nitro Nationals Set For This Weekend

This event is slated to be one of the largest events of the season at Spokane County Raceway, with racing action including Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Pro Mods, A/Fuel Dragsters, Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars and Jet Cars.

Summer heats up when Spokane County Raceway hosts the Inaugural Nitro Nationals, July 31st, August 1st and August 2nd Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  This event is slated to be one of the largest events of the season at Spokane County Raceway, with racing action including Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Pro Mods, A/Fuel Dragsters, Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars and Jet Cars all running under the lights at Spokane County Raceway.  The Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car field is going to be one of the toughest in the history of the Inland Empire with names like Bucky Austin, Garrett Bateman, Mark Sanders, Twig Ziegler, Dale Pulde and Spokane’s own Chris Davis.

The Pro Mod field is set to be even better than the field that set the Inland Empire on fire at the Season Opener.  Dennis Radford, Joe Delehay, Ross Hogenson and Spokane’s Tim Mann are just some of the drivers that will be racing for the win.

Spokane County Raceway will also be hosting the flame throwing & ground pounding Jet Funny Cars of “Warhawk” and “Nitehawk”, as they will finish up the show each and every night!!

The weekend gets started with July 31st, FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY NIGHT where 2 adults and 2 children 14 and under get in for just $40.  Friday Night will kick off at 8 pm with Professional Qualifying under the lights at Spokane County Raceway.

Saturday August 1st, will feature final qualifying as all the professional teams try to make it in the “Big Show.”  Professional qualifying will be at 4 pm and 8 pm, as the thunder from the pipes rattle the Inland Empire!

Sunday August 2nd is eliminations day.  Professional eliminations are scheduled to start at 2 pm, with the final round run under the lights.  This is one of the biggest races in the history of the Inland Empire and you don’t want to miss it!!

Gates Open at 8 am each day.

Friday Child 6-14 $5, Saturday Child 6-14 $10, Sunday Child 6-14 $5

Children under 6 are free!!!

Friday Night Family Night, 2 adults and 2 children 14 and under only $40!
