World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: 34 Raceway, Charter Raceway Park & Cedar Lake Speedway

The World of Outlaws have a busy week ahead with three races in five days beginning on Wednesday, July 8 at 34 Raceway in Iowa, followed by a visit to Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 11 and wrapping up with a stop at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 12.

Concord, NC— July 6, 2009

WHAT
• The World of Outlaws have a busy week ahead with three races in five days beginning on Wednesday, July 8 at 34 Raceway in Iowa, followed by a visit to Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 11 and wrapping up with a stop at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 12. The event at 34 Raceway will mark the second consecutive season that the series has competed at the high-banked 3/8-mile. The World of Outlaws raced for the first time at Charter Raceway Park in 1996 and have competed every year since 2002 at the high-banked 1/3-mile, with four different drivers picking up wins in the series last four stops at the track. Cedar Lake Speedway has been a staple on the circuit since 1983 and has seen seven different winners in the last seven races at the high-banked 3/8-mile.

WHEN
• On Wednesday, July 8 at 34 Speedway, hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

• On Saturday, July 11 at Charter Raceway Park hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

• On Sunday, July 12 at Cedar Lake Speedway, hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

• Charter Raceway Park is a high-banked 1/3-mile. The track record of 11.275 seconds was established by Daryn Pittman in 2001.

• Cedar Lake Speedway is a high-banked 3/8-mile. The track record of 10.775 seconds was established by Terry McCarl on September 11, 2004.
