Bell back in place for Veterans Day

The restored Liberty Bell is back at its station in Veterans Plaza at McEuen Field, reports Deputy City Administrator Sam Taylor. A chunk of the bell broke when a couple tried to ring it recently, causing the 1,500 pound bell to fall. Taylor credits Allied Weldery's quit work for putting the bell back in place before Veterans Day. The bell has been immobilized to prevent people from trying to ring it.
