Pastor shooting suspect returns to Kootenai Co

The man accused of shooting a Coeur d’Alene pastor in March arrived at the Kootenai County Jail Friday, after being transported from the East Coast by the U.S. Marshal Service. Kyle Odom, 30, (shown in Kootenai County Jail booking photo) was arrested outside the White House in Washington, D.C., two days after the March 6 shooting in the parking lot of Altar Church. Pastor Tim Remington survived the attack. For the past month, Odom has been in transit as the U.S. Marshal Service shuttled him to Kootenai County to face an attempted murder charge. The transport was arranged at the request of the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. The lengthy travel time frustrated the Public Defender’s Office, which has been assigned to represent Odom/Becky Kramer, SR.
