Force Vector (RE: Senate panel OKs permitless carry): I prefer the requirement to obtain a permit for concealed carry. I also prefer that someone permitted to concealed carry show a minimum proficiency in using a handgun first. Poor marksmanship, poor judgment, inexperience with firearms..these are all things in ample supply and should be remedied before giving the go ahead to potentially put others in danger by use of a firearm in a self defense situation.
