What to wear?

Gonzaga forward Domantas Sabonis (11) fights to the hoop against Portland State during a college basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Wash. (Tyler Tjomsland / The Spokesman-Review)

I can check “watch a Gonzaga men’s basketball game at the McCarthey Center” off my bucket list. Walking partner Greg Lee and I enjoyed watching Kyle Wiltjer and Domantas Sabonis lead Gonzaga to a harder-the-expected win over visiting Portland in The Kennel Saturday. I was stylin’ with a white and black Gonzaga Hat, with a big bulldog in front and a “GU” on the bill. There was a story behind the hat. Shortly before Greg picked me up at my house, I realized I didn’t have appropriate wear for a home Gonzaga game. I have 2 Gonzaga hats, including one that has seen its better days. I have a Gonzaga hoodie, which I keep at the office to wear on my week daily walks. And I have some Gonzaga sweats that I rarely wear because they have no pockets. That’s it. No Gonzaga T-shirts. Or any other kind of paraphernalia. Incredibly, I have a University of Portland T-shirt that my UP alum daughter bought me. And I have all kinds of University of Florida wear, including a stuffed doll of former Gator QB Tim Tebow that my son gave me. How about you?

Question: Would you have anything properly partisan to wear to a Gonzaga game, if you had a chance to watch a game at The Kennel?
