Tom Wobker, The Bard of Sherman Avenue, finally took the public bow he so richly deserves at the annual Blogfest of Huckleberries Online. For 14 years, only Wobker, blogmeister D.F. Oliveria and a handful of Wobker's friends knew his identity as The Bard. Today, we tell the story of the man behind the short rhyme that has delighted us.
We've reached the day of Blogfest 2016, the annual gathering of bloggers, commenters and blurkers at Steve Widmyer's Fort Ground Grill. We'll begin gathering at 1 p.m. today. And, an hour later, I'll give my annual State of the Blog speech, which will be short and sweet -- and culminate with the introduction of The Bard of Sherman Avenue.
