AM: Boise honors Olympian Armstrong

Photo Set (1st of 5 photos): With a flourish -- and not a little bit of pride at having kept the secret so well -- Mayor David Bieter unveils the newly named park, adding to Boise's "ribbon of jewels," parks named after prominent women Monday in Boise. Boise's Municipal Park has a new name after the city dedicated the 28-acre park to three-time Olympic gold medal cyclist Kristin Armstrong. Bieter unveiled the park's new signage on Sunday at an event celebrating Armstrong, who just returned from winning her third-consecutive Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro.
