Greg Moore Memorial benefit Sunday

Food, fun and music will be part of a Sunday, Aug. 28, benefit concert in McEuen Park to fundraise for the K27 Fallen Officer Memorial. The K27 Forever Benefit Concert takes place from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and is a family friendly event featuring band “The Power” and other musical talent. Food, fun and games and a short appreciation program will also be included. Children are free and adult tickets are $10.

Proceeds support the memorial fundraising.The privately fundraised memorial in McEuen Park will honor Sgt. Greg Moore, whose call letters were “K27” and other fallen officers around the nation. Sgt. Moore was shot early in the morning on May 5, 2015 while on patrol. He left behind a wife and two children.
