Wild Card/Thursday: Zach or Poet’s Night?

Hucks Nation will have a tough decision to make Friday evening. Two competing events are worth attending. Beginning at 6:30 at the Coeur d'Alene Library, Washington State Poet Laureate Tod Marshall will headline a group of 9 talented poets for a Poet's Night that will include a tribute to our Bard of Sherman Avenue. (More here.) Meanwhile, from 6 to 7:30 at Calypso's, folk singer Zach Hval (proud mama Cindy's offspring) will perform. Cindy says her boy has a Bob Dylan style and sings/plays a mix of true old-time folk music and original compositions. He plays guitar, banjo and harmonica and has released two CD's. Dealer's choice. It's a tough one. Here's today's Wild Card ...
