JohnA misses ‘hot pants’

JohnA (RE: Trinket: Dance dress code all wet): "I am old enough to remember when Hot Pants were boss, man, especially when the hottest girl in school showed up in a pair. Maybe we were a more liberal society in those days because she was allowed to wear them to school, and a whole new happy trend was established. As I recall, no sexual assaults ensued. Of course, that might have been because we had all grown up much faster than some at that time, owing to the several natural disasters (not to mention the one at the Sunshine Mine) that had occurred during our high school years."

DFO: Was hot pants that item Nancy Sinatra was wearing on the cover of her "These Boots Were Made for Walking" album?

Question: We all laugh at some of the goofier clothing and hair style trends of our teen/early adult years. What is something that you miss and would like to see come back?
