Thanks to two students representing North Idaho Christian School and Coeur d’Alene High School, a pair of Coeur d’Alene street sweepers shall remain nameless no longer! During a recent “Hotdogs, Hammers and Hardhats” event at Kootenai Technical School in Rathdrum, Coeur d’Alene City Councilman Dan Gookin proposed a “Name the Sweeper Contest” to involve local students in a civic event.
