Tuesday Poll: A supermajority of Hucks Nation voted in city and highway district elections Tuesday. Of 230 respondents Tuesday, 90 (39.13%) said they had already voted by the time they answered the poll and another 68 (29.57%) said they intended to vote. That's 68.7% combined. With the city/highway district elections attracting under 20% of eligible voters throughout Kootenai County, you can see the impact that Hucks Nation voters have on local elections. Only 23 respondents (10%) said they didn't plan to vote. Another 49 (21.3%) said they didn't live in a city or highway district and, therefore, weren't eligible to vote.
Today's Poll: Are you pleased with the election results in your city?
