Facebook: Regan calls DFO ‘ever feculent’

On the wall of a mutual Facebook Friend, Brent Regan didn't react well to a post by Jim Pierce criticizing a nasty, last-minute flier by Regan's candidate Toby Schindelbeck. Who has criticized incumbent Ron Edinger for being a career politician and part of a good-old-boy network. Pierce wrote: "THIS IS A CITY COUNCIL RACE, NOT NATIONAL POLITICS. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH A 45-YEAR PUBLIC SERVANT, YOU DON'T BESMIRCH HIS REPUTATION, CALL HIM NAMES, AND USE INNUENDO IN A HIT PIECE. This is our community, so if you want to come and be a part of it, then engage in respectful conversation and debate and QUIT BRINGING YOUR NEGATIVE FLAVOR AND CULTURE TO OUR COMMUNITY! Regan responded in the comment section of Pierce's Facebook wall: "I appreciate the sentiment. I look forward to reading your criticisms of Ms. Patano, Mr. English and the ever feculent DFO. Moral high ground is best achieved when defending your opponents."

DFO: "Ever feculent"? Moral high ground? Regan doesn't sound like someone taking the moral high ground. Thoughts?
