Jonathan Daniel Renfro, 26, will make his first appearance in 1st District Court at 4 p.m. today. Renfro is accused of shooting Coeur d'Alene police officer Greg Moore this morning in the 2800 block of W. Wilbur Ave. At the 1st appearance before Judge James Stow in the Kootenai County Jail courtroom, Renfro will be asked about his financial ability to defend himself legally and may have a public defender appointed for him. He will not enter a plea today. Also, Judge Stow will set conditions for bail and possibly a bail amount. SReporter will cover the event. Scott's subsequent report will be posted here.
