Senate OKs Parental Rights Bill

The Senate has voted 27-7 in favor of HB 113a, the parental rights bill that the House earlier passed but that was amended in the Senate. Sen. Sheryl Nuxoll, R-Cottonwood, said the measure would ensure that courts recognize parents’ “fundamental right” to raise and educate their children as they wish. It was a straight party-line vote, with all "yes" votes coming from Republicans and all "no" votes from Senate Democrats. The amended bill now must go back to the House for concurrence in the Senate amendments/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.

Question: Do you support/oppose this bill?
