Cindy: Word Cooler Not Needed

Cindy (RE: Time for Word Cooler): Wowza! 168 comments and I read them all. Thank you TWolf for launching this discussion. But I don't at all agree with a word cooler. DFO has long banished habitual name-callers.IMO I wish he'd just leave some of them banished. Why? Because as soon as he lets them out of the cooler they're right back at it. Flinging words like "racist" "homophobe" and "bigot" at folks whose views don't align with theirs. Guess what? You CAN say things like, "I don't agree with your opinion. I believe this____." Instead of saying crap like "Racist much?" But it's quicker to fling poo and try to silence discourse. I have no patience for name-callers, and those who question the intelligence and integrity of anyone who differs with them. It's soooo boring and predictable. Just because people are tired of engaging them in public on the blog, doesn't mean they've earned any respect or proven any points. Quite the opposite in fact.

DFO: I can only promise to be more diligent in isolating or banning the name callers ...
