Sponsor Pull Daylight-Saving Bill

Idaho’s bill to do away with the “fall back” and “spring forward” of daylight saving time is dead; its sponsor, House Majority Leader Mike Moyle, R-Star, says he’ll withdraw the bill and try again next year, after learning that what was proposed in this year’s measure - year-round daylight saving time – is illegal under federal law. Last year, he proposed unsuccessful legislation to put Idaho permanently on standard time. “The intent was, I don’t care which one it is, to get it out there and get a resolution,” Moyle said. “The problem is half want one, half want the other"/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.

Question: Are you glad that daylight-saving time is almost here?
