So Tired, Tired Of Waiting …

On her Facebook wall Tuesday, Cindy posted this photo from a motorist licensing shop in Spokane, with the note: "Waiting with Sam to get his learner's permit. He may be 21 by the time we leave." Later: "The waiting in line was for naught. Things have change in the last five years since I brought a kid here. Now, the have to be enrolled in driver's ed BEFORE they can get a permit."

Question: When did you last take a kid to get his/her learner's permit or license? What was that experience like?
