As I sit in my home office typing this post, the wind is picking up and it's raining outside. Sweet summer rain. Sweet relief from the sweltering heat of the last several weeks. I hope the rain doesn't bring lightning strikes to our bone-dry forests. But I'll worry about that later. Now, I'm going to enjoy the rhythm of the falling rain.
