Blast From Past: Fish Inn

On the Old School North Idaho Facebook wall, Aaron J. Rich posted several photos of the old Fish Inn from the Old Motor blog, including this one. The Motor Blog provides the background story re: why original owner Mamie & Kenny West choose the design for their business in 1932. More photos and that story here. I remember judging a chili cookoff contest at the Fish Inn sometime in the mid-1980s. It was located east of town. It was a hot day, and there were dozens of entries. After tasting the first 10 or so, I had no idea what I was tasting. Or which chili was best. I suspect someone won that day who had little idea how to cook chili.

Question: Did you have any experience with the Fish Inn?
