I finally saw that Coeur d'Alene Casino commercial featuring Post Falls Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson, as "Vera." Kerri discussed her day as an actor for a new advertising campaign by the Coeur d'Alene Casino in a June 25 Main Street column here. Kerri reports that it was hard to spend a day, as "Vera," being excited about fictional jackpots. It's hard for me to view someone I've know quite awhile by another name. Vera? My best friend's sister during my formative years was named Vera. Kerri's "Vera" in the commercial made me wonder re: what name would best suit me, if I were cast in a commercial. My junior English teacher once had us write a paper under a pseudonym. I chose Jantzen Davies. Still like that pseudonym. How about you?
